Jesus is the life or the resurrection

Exploring the theological concepts of life and death

If the first Adam orchestrated sin and death, then the second and last Adam has taken away sin and death and brought life and immortality or resurrection to light.

It is on record that Adam disobeyed the Lord God and brought sin and death to the human race, otherwise for God, man wasn't originally created for death as long as they lived in obedience to live and not die. Adam by Eve chose to die than to live.

📖 Genesis 2:17
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. KJV

Meaning that life or death is a choice offered to man right from the beginning of life of man on earth.

The death here meant separation from the life giving spirit of the life in God and eventually physical death of the mortal human body.

Following the dictum of sin and death, death reigned from Adam not only to Moses but right up to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Adam haven shown his inadequacy in keeping life, necessitated the coming of a second and perfect Adam for the purpose of restoration of what was lost - the Kingdom of life.

📖 1 Corinthians 15:22
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive......
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. KJV.

The Lord God is pro-llfe

📖 Mark 12:27
He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err. KJV

The Lord Jesus came to finally fulfil the eternal purpose of creation by spiritually paying to Himself the sacred demands of life on earth - by His blood as down payment of His life, to be laid down for anyone willing to pick it up and live forever.

📖 John 15:13
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. KJV.

📖 John 3:15-16
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. KJV.

Eternal life is life in the eternal realms of existence - no beginning and no end.

Everlasting life is life that has a beginning but no end. This is the realm in earth where man is born in time and is supposed to live forever as a living soul .... immortality on earth.

After the infiltration of death on earth and with man living for so long in the realm of sin and death, mankind seemed to have erroneously embraced death as a necessary end to life on earth. Man being lopsided with the dictum that "the soul that sinneth it shall die." (The original plan of Satan the devil seemed to have worked).
The Lord God knowing fully well that He created man as a free moral agent, man would have to choose life or if not then resurrection of the body on the last day for whosoever chooses to die even after the coming of life through His only begotten son Jesus - the last Adam of perfection.

So death is very much welcomed by human kind, and some people surprisingly tend to adore death as to spend huge sums of money to commemorate funerals and death celebrations than to foster life as they know how ....
What you celebrate you attract.

Even churches today that say they preach Christ rather encourage their members to know that they are in that church to be primarily prepared for death and not to live the more abundant life Jesus Christ revealed He came for:

📖 John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. KJV.

With this mindset, their Christian members tend to focus more on funeral services, death celebrations, and memorial services of the dead. So the nominal church today is flaunting the very convenient doctrine and false doctrine of demons, which stipulates that, the church is designed to prepare people for their death. They are also told that it is only when one dies when they can have the opportunity to receive Christ and to enter heaven and thereafter become the children of God.

Our Lord Jesus used the spectacular case of Lazarus His friend to show that He's not to be associated with death at all for anyone who will just care to believe in Him.....

Lazarus the friend of Jesus and Martha and Mary died, and was told Jesus. When Jesus was about to inform His disciples was careful to voice the word death first, but simply said He's sleeping

📖 John 11:11
These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. KJV.

It was strange for people at that time and even today to know that people could be resurrected before the final resurrection talked of in the Scriptures of the last day .... so many when they hear of resurrection they go straight to the last day. Even Martha the friend of Jesus knew the same and couldn't be convinced beyond the doubt, even when the Lord Jesus told her, He's the resurrection and the life – the life giving spirit even for the now.

📖 John 11:25
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: KJV.

The Lord mentioned immortality here too to Martha but she was adamant and went back to her old doctrine of sin and death as many today do.

📖 John 11:23-24
Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.
24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. ....

📖 John 11:26
And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world. KJV.

Martha finally failed to understand the Lord Jesus

It would seem the Apst Paul was being mocked for his inclination to the gospel of immortality on which he stood firmly to his belief and said this:

📖 2 Timothy 1:10-12
10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
11 Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.
12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. KJV.

The apostles preached a Kingdom of life as their master Jesus Christ and lived a life of immortality and the devil being infuriated about his failed scheme in the life of the apostles, caused the physical death of the apostles, by men killing them all, except for the Apst John who was prophesied by the Lord that he will not see death.

📖 John 21:20-23
20.Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?
21 Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?
22 Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.
23 Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? KJV.

It is postulated that the Apst John couldn't die when his assailants put him in a very large cauldron of boiling oil for to kill him, but he supernaturally disappeared and was teleported to the island of Patmos from where he wrote his Revelations.

Origin of the neglect of the belief in immortality

After the killing of the apostles a strange form of religion erupted centered on the church as a dynasty and headed by a certain successor of Peter as the vicar of the church of Rome ... For these curious believers in Jesus Christ, the Apst Peter was seen to have been the rock on which the church was built and equally given the keys of the church. This was the beginning of origin of the church of Rome - the Roman Catholic Church.

The rise of the Roman Catholics Church is a misconception of the verse in,

📖 Matthew 16:18
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. KJV.

This verse clearly shows that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Rock and Head and Foundation of His church.
The Apst Peter was never given the headship of the church by the Lord. Jesus. This is how the gospel of the Kingdom preached by our Lord Jesus has been carefully set aside or even forfeited by all the subsequent followers of the Roman Catholic Church, whether they be Protestants or orthodox.
The discarding of the gospel of the Kingdom which brought in other positional doctrines upheld by this huge body of believers - the Roman Catholics, has in many diverse ways downplayed the real essence and power of the gospel of our Lord Jesus to warrant strong beliefs in immortality. Only the doctrines of the gospel of the Kingdom can lead humans to radically take back this doctrine of immortality of the body on earth, our Lord Jesus paid for by His blood.

What about you ... what's your opinion about this doctrine of Jesus here.
Our Lord Jesus is the God of the living and those who live show His glory not the dead.

📖 John 11:40
Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? KJV.

The bottom line here is that human beings can choose one of two conditions for livelihood here on earth after the coming of the last and perfect Adam in our Lord Jesus:
LIFE NOW OR RESURRECTION ON THE LAST DAY
ALSO NOTE THAT NOT ALL WILL HAVE TO DIE BEFORE THE LAST DAY OF RAPTURE

📖 1 Corinthians 15:51
Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, KJV.

Additionally, not all who have died, died the death of the body but were killed. To have been killed is not death of the body.

For Christ Jesus to be the resurrection and the life means nothing dying that comes close to Him remains dieing or dead
May you receive the life giving spirit in whatever is dying in your life your health and body right now / in your finances / in your marriage / in your ministry etc.
